IT Systems Analyst
Thistle Seafoods are currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join a crucial function within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the software and hardware needs of our Peterhead site and will work closely with the other members of the IT team.
The ideal candidate will be confident working autonomously and will be given the opportunity to grow and develop within the role.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft operating systems and packages.
- Provide technical support to all IT systems, software and hardware.
- Responsible for all the 1st and 2nd line support enquiries.
- Monitor and maintain the internal bespoke ERP system.
- Periodically get involved with large scale ERP projects for improvements and modifications to the system.
- Assist in a variety of project work including helping with factory refit and upgrades.
- Working with the managed service IT provider ensuring all KPI’s are maintained.
- Assisting with reports for the finance team and Directors.
Candidates must have the ability to juggle a busy workload and be happy getting hands their hands dirty as well as helping with large technical projects. They must be able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight time deadlines.
This position is Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm. There is also some flexibility for candidates to work between both the office and from home.
