Development Kitchen Assistant
Thistle Seafoods are currently seeking a Development Kitchen Assistant to join an interesting and important function within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the development team in a variety of different tasks and duties.
The ideal candidate will be confident working within a small hard-working team and be flexible in completing various tasks in the same day.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assisting in factory trials and setting up tasting sessions.
- Packaging and sending samples of products to customers.
- Organising and completing cooking instructions for new and existing products.
- Sending samples for nutritional analysis to our laboratory.
- Maintaining all relevant paperwork.
- Using Microsoft packages and being confident using a computer.
- Liaising with and assisting the technical team and Development Chefs.
- Helping to keep the NPD kitchen clean and tidy.
This position is full time Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm.
