Our production facilities in Aberdeenshire are supplied by an experienced and knowledgeable procurement team who are handling an expanding portfolio of fish species. Our extremely strong financial situation allows us to conclude deals ranging from a few hundred pounds to many hundreds of thousands. We have links and partnerships with fishermen around the globe, from the Arctic Circle to Asia. Our team travels extensively, checking first-hand the quality and environmental credentials of all the fish we buy. This means that customers can rely on us for all types of quality seafood, be it staple whitefish or highly specified salmon. Farmed fish, such as salmon, are sourced from the UK and Norway, where we have links with small and major producers alike. We have close links with numerous key individuals within the fish supply industry which allows us to easily procure a wide range of species if required. The main species used in our production plants continue to be Cod and Haddock. Although issues surrounding the supply of these products have been widely publicised in recent times, our superior contacts in the marketplace have allowed us to secure long term supply arrangements from the Barents Sea. |
