Thistle Seafoods is one of the UK’s leading fish processors. We supply most sectors of the market, from supermarkets to pubs, from fish and chip shops to schools and hospitals.

We have state of the art facilities in Boddam, near Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. Our facilities employ over 200 people and produce added value fish products in all frozen formats, from natural fillets to coated fish, from meal centres to innovative recipe meals.

Investment in this site has given us some of the best processing and packaging facilities of any seafood operation in Europe. Our site has the capacity to produce approximately 60 tonnes of product per day, both Thistle brand and private-label products.

Ongoing investment at our site has created one of the top facilities of its type anywhere in the UK. Our overall investments in technology and our people have been instrumental in winning us the Seafish Industry Award and retaining the highest level EFSIS and Campden Laboratory accreditation.
